What is An Equipping Church?
The definition of an Equipping Church has evolved over the past 25 years. In today's culture an Equipping Church is one that is intentional about preparing all of its people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up. An Equipping Church bases everything it does on living out the principles outlined in Ephesians 4:11-16 discipling and growing its people who become ministers to the world. Systems and processes are integral to the Equipping Church to provide the intentionality needed to make this all happen. For most churches many changes will be necessary to attain to this definition of an Equipping Church.
