Building An Equipping Culture
Understanding what God's word has to say about the equipping process and allowing those ideals to permeate every corner of the church takes time to develop. You will discover how to take the words from the Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to transform your heart. A process for each individual to become more spiritually mature (spiritual formation) will be included. Foundational to equipping is discipleship, and we will focus on the integral linkage of these concepts. Leaders will learn to value people-development (using the ministries of the church) over program-development (using the people of the church). Exploring the many ways leaders can use these biblical principles to equip others to claim the ministry role that God has uniquely created them to live out results in changed lives. People begin to be excited about fulfilling these roles and start to draw their friends into the church. Even strangers will recognize a difference and come to learn what is so special about this place - they will want to experience it for themselves.
